Research on multi-agent safety and cooperative AI

Caspar Oesterheld is a PhD student in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is also the Assistant Director of the Foundations of Cooperative AI Lab. Most of his work concerns learning- and game-theoretic questions on how to ensure the safety of future interactions between AI agents with conflicting objectives.
