Jacob holds a BA in Psychology and Russian Literature from the University of Wisconsin, where he became interested in studying the peculiarities of human nature across time and cultures. He currently works abroad as a freelance translator and assists with FLI outreach efforts in Eastern Europe. His other interests include music, conservation, and the universe.
