
Sabina Nong
Sabina is an AI Safety Investigator at the Future of Life Institute, where she leads investigations into the safety practices of leading general-purpose AI companies for the biannual editions of the AI Safety Index. Her earlier research at Stanford’s Human-Centered AI Institute and Cyber Policy Center focused on AI governance in the context of geopolitical competition and regulatory divergence. Before moving into AI policy, her researched on information campaign analysis and election integrity at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab and Berkeley Human Rights Investigation Lab.
She holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley and an MA in International Policy (Cyber Policy) from Stanford University.
