Madeline Southwell is the Communications Associate at the Future of Life Institute. She delivers FLI’s work to critical audiences through press, policy communications, and digital media campaigns. Her prior work spans the intersection of media and technology, including researching AI’s impact on journalism at the Northwestern University Knight Lab. Madeline graduated from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and lives in New York City, where she was born and raised.
